Assess & Serve Jambalaya Sales
To help raise money for all of the different outreaches Assessor Gardner has planned throughout the year, he and some of his staff held
jambalaya plate sales in Jackson and Clinton.
Assessor Gardner and Chief Deputy Charles Snyder work hard putting the plates together
Mr. Arkell Merritt’s jambalaya is some of the best in the parish
We still found time to visit with some of the community members.
Assess & Serve Christmas 2013
Thanks to the money we raised with our jambalaya sales and many very generous donations from organizations in our community we were able to
not only have a record year for our St. Jude Toy Drive; we were also able to provide Christmas Dinners to feed over twenty families along with
Christmas gifts for over forty kids here in East Feliciana Parish.
We place St. Jude Toy Boxes at many locations to help with collection. These toys were collected at the Assessor Association’s Christmas party
where the Assessors from all over the state of Louisiana were able to participate in our toy drive.
Just a glimpse at what Santa and Assessor Gardner’s elves were able to do for so many local children.
The Assessor and staff would like to give a huge thank you to RKM Primary Care,
The Highlands Bank, Feliciana Bank,
Landmark Bank, The Lions Club and the many individuals who donated
time and money to help make these events successful.
